baterai laptop available plugged in not charging
HPWindows 10- Battery 0% available (plugged in, not charging) I have been using the current HP laptop for 4 years. The processor is Corei5. However, the battery has stopped charging since 6 months and the laptop runs on AC. After seeking online assistance through various forums to check battery status I am left helpless.
Turnoff the computer and wait five seconds. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings. Press F10 to Save and Exit. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
Themessage says "0% available, plugged-in, charging" 5 - Customer support had me check the battery to ensure that it will allow a charge of 100%. It was set at 80%. We also checked to make sure the battery light on the computer was lit up and the power cord was correctly working. 6 - Customer support suggested the battery might be defective
Firstof all, shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter, remove the battery, and then hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Now, plug in the AC Adapter without the battery inserted, start the notebook, open Windows Control Panel, open Device Manager, expand the entry for Batteries, right click on and the Microsoft ACPI Compliant
Whileplugged in my notebook will say its plugged in, then change to say it is running off battery power for a short time, then go back to saying it's plugged in. I've been able to confirm it's not the cord or the outlet. It does NOT say "plugged in, not charging", it says it's not plugged in when it is.
